    A TOP QUALITY, 2-3/4" MONSTER SIZED ultra rare Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. A February Fossil of the Month.  Lateral tooth. The crown has extremely sharp cutting edges. Excellent light tan color with a light tan root and bourlette. The root is ~3/4" thick and shows a small hydration cracks. This Parotodus tooth was found in the Yorktown Formation (Pliocene age). No repair or restoration. An incredibly large, very special, rare collector's tooth.     An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. NC003 has a rich copper-red color. Fantastic color! The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are large, sharp and complete with an excellent tip serration. Bourlette is the dentin layer. The root is extra wide, very thick (1-1/4"), and complete. Definitely a Miocene Meg with grooves on the root lobes. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root. No repair or restoration.     A Very Rare, Top Quality (Gem) Rolfodon ludvigseni tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. An August Fossil of the Month. This is a new genius of Frill shark from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species of Chlamydoselachiform shark, the Frill shark. These teeth exhibit classic Frill shark design with a central cusp flanked by two lateral cusps. The crown is complete and the root is complete. Note - all three crown tip ends were very neatly reattached without fill or gaps which is typical for a matrix free specimen. Crack lines are hard to see without magnification. Highest quality enamel. No repair. A very difficult tooth to locate and an excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. This incredible specimen is from a 20 year old collection. A fantastic Frill shark specimen!
