An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY, Carcharodon (Isurus) hastalis tooth with an excellent tan color from the Sharktooth Hill area, Bakersfield, California. A February Fossil of the Month. This tooth is nicely displayed on its original Round Mountain silt matrix with three whale bones. The root is very well preserved with a brown color. Very clean crown. An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper jaw anterior tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown and a light brown colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Very wide crown. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. A Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from Harleyville, So. Carolina (Giant Cement Quarry). Otodus sokolovi is the ancestor of O. auriculatus. An excellent lateral tooth. An excellent gray colored crown with a black colored bourlette, and a light charcoal colored root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color & preservation. The serrations are large and razor sharp including the tip. Two large side cusps. The root is complete and very well preserved. It is very hard to find these teeth in perfect condition. A rare Top Quality Carcharomodus escheri, a "serrated Mako" shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & distally inclined crown, and side cusplets. This is a "Blue" layer tooth which are know for the highest preservation and best color - rarely seen outside of Europe. This tooth has excellent color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. One side cusplet. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). An excellent rare collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult tooth to source.
