A LARGE, Top Quality Palatobaena choen skull, a Baenidae turtle, from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A May Fossil of the Month. Baenidae were freshwater aquatic turtles that lived amongst the dinosaurs and are found in the Hell Creek formation. This skull has incredible bone quality with excellent color and patina. Very high bone preservation. This skull is 100% complete and nicely articulated. No repair or restoration. No Crack fill. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An exceptional collector's quality Palatobaena choen skull. Authenticity guaranteed. Museum Quality.

An ULTRA RARE, Top Quality Hexanchus griseus symphyseal tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. A May Fossil of ther Month. This is a slightly pathologic lower symphyseal jaw tooth (center tooth) with 7 large primary cusps on the left side and small cusps on the right side. Superb preservation and color. No repair or restoration. An excellent root - very unique & extremely difficult to find!  Authenticity guaranteed. A Top Quality Chilean Hexanchus griseus upper jaw tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This tooth with four perfect cusps. Excellent preservation and fantastic color. This specimen is displayed on its original matrix with a well preserved tuna vertabra. No repair. These tooth was found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. and is late Miocene to early Pliocene age.
