An Ultra Rare, TOP QUALITY Spicomellus afer spike osteoderm from the earliest known Ankylosaur found in the Boulemane region of Morocco. A March Fossil of the Month.  An excellent spike with an incredible natural black color and patina. The surface quality is exceptional with no pitting, nicks or wear! Fully inflated. A very rare Top Quality, Ornitholestes sp. toe claw (pes claw). Ornitholestes is a Jurassic  raptor-like dinosaur. It grew about 8 feet in length, and its name means "bird robber". This Ornitholestes toe claw measures 3/4". Highest quality bone. Great rich black - brown color. Exceptional overall condition. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Como Bluff, Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic specimen!  Note -  A Gem jar frame is included.

There is a strong posterior profile curve which a distinguishes this species. Great preservation withn sharp serrations and an excellent red color. An excellent rare tooth from a mid size Cretaceous theropod. Crack fill at base. No restoration. These teeth are very uncommon. Please see my Deltadromeus tooth discussion below. This is my best estimate of this species based upon the characteristics of this theropod and distinguishing it from other known Kem Kem theropod species.
