A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A January Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell and Lance Creek Formations. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved with excellent color and natural patina. Fantastic surface articulation. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. The preparation of the horn was fairly basic and simple with minor crack repair. No extensive repair or restoration. A very rare MASSIVE, High Quality  4-1/4" Tyrannosaurus rex  maxillary  tooth. A January Fossil of the Month. The enamel has a good color and patina. Good mesial and distal serrations. Base cross-section is a tall oval - very wide (1-9/16"). A thick and heavy tooth. There is some root etching, small crack fill, and a couple of small spots repaired near the base (see final photo). No restoration. 100% natural. A top quality BIG tooth top! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A LARGE, Top Quality, well preserved Eodiaphyodus  granulosus  tooth crusher plate from the phosphate region of Morocco.  Eodiaphyodus  ("dawn Diaphyodus") is an extinct genus of marine phyllodont ray-finned fish known from Late Cretaceous sediments across Africa.
