A VERY RARE, Top Quality Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is complete lower jaw tooth with a unique pathology. Superb preservation and color. Ten primary cusps fully formed on the left and nine cusps on the right. Very unusual. No repair or restoration. A Top Quality Chilean Hexanchus griseus upper jaw tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This tooth with four perfect cusps. Excellent preservation and fantastic color. This specimen is displayed on its original matrix with a well preserved tuna vertabra. No repair. These tooth was found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. and is late Miocene to early Pliocene age.
