A very rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Allosaurus fragilis  tooth from the Morrison Fm. A January Fossil of the Month. This Allosaurus crown measures 2" and is 1-1/4" wide. Tooth measures 3-1/4" with the partial root. This is a BIG Allosaurus tooth. The enamel is high quality. Great rich dark brown color. Exceptional anterior and posterior serrations. Minor natural crushing on the left bottom is stabilized. Excellent overall condition. No repair or restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cadbin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming. An ultra rare, top quality 5-1/8" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. An October Fossil of the Month.  This Megalodon tooth has the highest quality enamel with a great tan color. The bourlette is a red brown color and 80% complete. The root is nicely articulated and complete. The serrations are complete with a great tip serration - incredible serrations for a Sharktooth Hill Meg tooth! This is a middle Miocene Meg. Note - the "Chubutensis-like" bumps at the base of the serrated edge - very unique - an early Miocene Meg tooth feature!  100% natural. No repair or restoration. You do not see these middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often. A very rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth. This tooth measures 1-5/8".  The enamel has excellent tan color and patina. Good anterior and excellent posterior serrations. Base cross-section is a wide oval. Minimal hydration cracks. A 100% natural tooth. A top quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A rare, Top Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of So. Dakota. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An excellent manus claw. Excellent rich light brown color and patina. This specimen has excellent perservation. Note - a portion of the tip was professionally restored which is typical for most Hell Creek claws. A LARGE, TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Flint River, Georgia. An exceptional molar tooth (see photo for tooth positions). A July Fossil of the Month. An excellent brown colored crown and a light brown root. Nicely articulated. Incredible preservation!  Note - the enamel tip shows absolutely no wear pattern on crown. There is a very shallow  natural wear facet on the shoulder from an opposing tooth. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. An Eocene age tooth (35 MYA).  No repair or restoration. A fantastic Archaeocete tooth from the Flint River, Georgia.  A very rare collector's tooth from an old collection. A rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex sub-adult right maxillary tooth. This tooth measures 2-1/8" with a large natural tip wear facet (could have been a 2-1/2" tooth). The enamel has excellent color and patina. Very good anterior and posterior serrations. Note - the anterior serrrations have a "Y" formation - very unique. The base cross-section is a compressed oval; however, you can see that the base of the tooth is the top of root section and the base "pinching" is in the root section only. The large size and serrations make this a T. rex tooth. A top quality tooth specimen! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. An ULTRA RARE, Top Quality 6-1/8" Caribbean Megalodon tooth - a lower jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. An August 2022 Fossil of the Month offering. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible very light tan colored crown with charcoal highlights. Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. The bourlette is near white colored and complete. The Caribbean Megalodon teeth consistently offer the closest to white colored enamel. Fantastic color! The serrations are razor sharp and complete. Excellent serrations overall. The root is a light tan color and no hydration cracks. Note - this tooth has professional restoration on a saw cut 3/4" below the tip and a few pits filled on root (typical for these teeth).
