A Top Quality, Mioplosus  fish from the 18 inch layer. The Mioplosus labracoides is an extinct Perch-like fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA), Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming.  A scarce species. This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare. It also provides the most detailed, highly preserved fossils. Exceptional preservation and preparation. The Diplomystus dentatus is a Herring fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA) in the ancient Fossil Lake deposit. These fossil fish are exceptionally preserved fossils.
