Note - This claw had some breaks along the bottom of the claw and at the back end of the claw. So there is some repair and restoration to reassemble the claw.  A good quality, collector's claw. An incredible fossil Horseshoe crab, Mesolimulus walchi, from Melmzetar, Solnhofen, Bavaria, Germany. A January Fossil of the Month. This crab is from the famous Solnhofen limestone quarry with the highest perservation. Upper Jurassic age - 155 million years old. It makes an incredible display. Slab size is 18.5" x 11.5". A Top Quality Diplomystus dentatus and Priscacara (Cockerellites) liops fish from the 18" layer, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. A March Fossil of the Month. Diplomystus dentatus is a Herring and the Priscacara liops is an extinct Perch from the Eocene age (50 MYA). This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare.
