Otodus Shark Teeth

Otodus Shark Teeth Collection

Buried Treasure Fossils offers exceptional Otodus Shark Teeth from the Otodus obliquus, one of the earliest mackerel sharks. As the apex predator of the early Eocene (approximately 50 million years ago), this shark is renowned for its teeth, which feature wide triangular crowns and distinct large side cusps.

While Otodus fossils are a staple for collectors, finding extraordinary, large (3"+) specimens in pristine condition is difficult. Many teeth on the market are damaged during crude extraction and suffer from poor repairs or reattached parts. We have painstakingly curated our inventory to offer only the finest examples—showy, large teeth free from the "remanufactured" quality standard elsewhere. If you are looking for genuine, museum-grade fossils with little to no damage, these specimens will be a pleasant surprise. Authenticity guaranteed.
