A Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These  teeth have a design that includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face. Authenticity guaranteed. P. mortoni is a rare species in Texas, and when teeth get this large they are extremely rare!

A Top Quality Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth Mako, shark tooth - lower jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. This tooth has a blue crown and a brown root. Excellent color! An ultra rare, Top Quality Hexanchus agassizi , Six-gill Cow shark, tooth from Aktulagay, Kazakhstan. This lower jaw tooth has 8 primary cusps. An Early Eocene (Ypresian), Tolagaysor Fm. A rare High Quality Carcharomodus escheri, a "serrated Mako" shark tooth - lower jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & duistally inclined crown, and side cusplets. This tooth has good color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. Two side cusplets. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). An excellent rare collector's tooth.
