There is a strong posterior profile curve which a distinguishes this species. Great preservation with sharp serrations and an excellent red color. An excellent rare tooth from a mid size Cretaceous theropod. Two cracks. No restoration. These teeth are very uncommon. Please see my Deltadromeus tooth discussion below. This is my best estimate of this species based upon the characteristics of this theropod and distinguishing it from other known Kem Kem theropod species. A TOP QUALITY Dromaeosaurid sp. tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. An August Fossil of the Month. There is no named Dromaeosaurid species in the Kem Kem. However, based upon the tooth size, a strong posterior curve , and a serration density of 6-8/mm mesial & 6/mm posterior, they appear to be from a Dromaeosaurid species. Great preservation with sharp serrations and an excellent red color. An excellent rare tooth from a small Cretaceous theropod. No cracks. No repair or restoration. This is a first time offering of a small quantity of Dromaeosaur teeth. These teeth are rare, and no one can assign this tooth to a species with certainty. Authenticity guaranteed.
