An EXTRA LARGE, very rare, Top Quality Heptranchias howellii tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. This Cow shark tooth is a complete lower jaw tooth with seven primary cusps. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Prognathodon anceps tooth from the phosphate mining region, Khouribga, Morocco. P. anceps is one of the largest mosasaur species known with huge nearly round teeth used for crushing prey.  Exceptional condition and preservation. Note - this large Moroccan Mosasaur was renamed to a Prognathodon genus. There is one small natural wear facet on the side. A TOP QUALITY Phareodus fish from the 18 Inch Layer. The Phareodus encaustus is a Osteoglossidae fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA) fish, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. A scarce species. The Phareodus was a carnivorous fish with large pointed teeth and a long pectoral fin. This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare. Colorful Jurassic "gem" dinosaur bone from the Morrison Fm., Moffat Co., Colorado. Silica (agate) replaced sauropod dinosaur limb or vertebra bone. The bone pore structure is well perserved and gives the bone a wonderful natural "textured" look with different colorization.
