An EXTRA LARGE, HIGH QUALITY Megalodon - upper jaw tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan, brown & charcoal colored crown with a light tan & brown colored extra large bourlette. The reverse side some fantastic color - the "Calico Meg". Highest quality enamel. Great color! The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. The root is essentially complete with few surface pits that happens with many West Java Megs. Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A June Fossil of the Month. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone quality is exceptional with excellent color and patina. Well preserved vascular channels. This osteoderm also has a high ridge on one side and a moderately concave base.  A couple of very small hydrations cracks only. No restoration. An Ultra Rare, Extra Large Pappocetus lugardi (Andrews, 1920) jaw section with 3 complete molars from Morocco. Pappocetus was in the Protocetidae family of ancient whales. Note – the molars demonstrate how massive Pappocetus teeth compared to the later primitive whales!  The root thickness doubles on one side and the crown gains depth as well. This material is a new find and represents one of the earliest transition forms of the whale. Pappocetus is a protocetid (see discussion below) and a large amphibious aquatic carnivore. Pappocetus is also an ancestor of the Basilosaurus.. This material is complete and without repair. Crack fill only on some pieces. This is an opportunity to own an incredibly rare specimen from an early evolutionary stage of the modern whale. A fantastic collector's specimen. Authenticity guaranteed.

A rare, Top Quality Anzu wyliei toe (pes) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of Montana. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An excellent pes claw. Excellent rich brown & tan color and patina. This specimen has excellent perservation - no pitting, nicks or wear. Note - a very small portion of the tip was professionally restored which is typical for most Hell Creek claws. A rare Top Quality Tenontosaurus tilletti  rooted tooth from an early Cretaceous basal iguanodontid dinosaur found in the Clovery Fm. Tenontosaurus was the primary prey for Deinonychus. It had robust leaf shaped teeth used to tear and grind coarse vegetation. The enamel is highest quality. Great dark brown color. Excellent enamel grinding surface. A LARGE, TOP QUALITY Nanotyrannus lancensis  tooth from the western US. This dentary tooth measures 1-5/8" (straight line). The enamel is excellent quality with excellent color and patina. The anterior serrations are very good and posterior serrations are excellent. One fine crack. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. A LARGE, Top Quality Struthiomimus altus upper toe bone or metatarsal from the late Cretaceous of North America. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. An execellent metatarsal bone (right foot - metatarsal III). Big and heavy. Excellent brown color and patina. This specimen has very good overall perservation. A complete specimen with natural crushing on the rear side and minor crack fill. A high quality, collector's metatarsal bone from the Hell Creek of Montana. Excellent bone preservation. An EXTRA LARGE, very rare, GEM Quality Parotodus benedeni  tooth with a massive root from Ridgeville., So. Carolina. A Miocene-Pliocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. Nice Tan color. Lateral tooth. A May Fossil of the Month. Highest quality enamel with raxor sharp edges and a "needle-like" sharp tip. Root is complete, very thick (11/16"), nicely articulated, and a very small hydration crack. A very rare Top Quality, Camptosaurus toe claw (pes claw). Camtposaurus is a Jurassic ornithischian dinosaur  related to the "duck bill" dinosaurs. It grew about 16 feet in length, and its name means "flexible lazard". It was a long-legged, bidel herbivore that relied on speed and agility to avoid predators. This Camptosaurus  toe claw measures 2-3/8". These claws resemble carnivore claws. Highest quality bone. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent overall condition. No repair or restoration with minor crack fill. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Como Bluff, Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic specimen. A LARGE, Top Quality Palatobaena choen skull, a Baenidae turtle, from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A May Fossil of the Month. Baenidae were freshwater aquatic turtles that lived amongst the dinosaurs and are found in the Hell Creek formation. This skull has incredible bone quality with excellent color and patina.
