A Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens tail (cervical) vertebra from the late Cretaceous of North America. A May Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This cervical vertebra is 100% complete without restoration - rare!  Bone quality is excellent. A rare Top Quality Camarasaurus tooth, a late Jurassic sauropod ungual (toe claw) from the Morrison Fm. Camarasaurus was a mid- sized Jurassic sauropod.. Great rich dark brown color. A rare, TOP Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This Megalodon has an excellent tan colored crown with a gorgeous golden tan colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Great color!  The bourlette is large and complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent "needle-like" tip serration. Excellent  serrations. A GEM Quality, Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw tooth. A February Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light blue & tan colored crown with an excellent dark brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional colorand color contrast!  The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip. The root is an excellent light brown color with a very small hydration crack and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An excellent tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! No repair or restoration. An ultra rare, Top Quality Alopias palatasi shark tooth, the extinct serrated Giant Thresher, from the Nottoway River, Virginia. A January Fossil of the Month. A Viriginia Red Site tooth with good copper-red color. Excellent preservation and condition. A Miocene tooth. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus toe bone (metatarsal) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. This is a great toe bone with exceptional detail preserved and good color / patina. This is the metatarsal IV bone. You can see the "mushroom" appearance of proximal ends which is a characteristic of Triceratops and distinguishes it from a Hadrosaur toe bone. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find. An ultra rare, Top Quality Struthiomimus altus hand (manus) claw from the late Cretaceous of North America. A November Fossil of the Month.  Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. Exceptional bone quality and color. Excellent bone preservation. The tip was repaired which is quite common for claws. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by spikes. This ungual has exceptional color and patina. Overall an excellect pes ungual.
