A Very Rare, High Quality Hexanchus microdon symphyseal tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. An August Fossil of the Month. This is a species from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A species of Hexanchiforme shark. The crown is complete (5+ cusps!) and the root is complete. High quality enamel. No repair. A very difficult tooth to locate and an excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. This incredible specimen is from a 20 year old collection. The symphyseal is always a rare position tooth to find and from a rare locality. A complete symphyseal tooth!

A Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. A November Fossil of the Month. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face. Authenticity guaranteed. Not perfect tooth - tooth was cracked in half when found. P. mortoni is a rare rare species in Texas, and when teeth get this large they are extremely rare! A massive anterior tooth  - maximum size!

A TOP QUALITY, Classic Lee Creek Chubutensis tooth - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is excellent and perfect. The serrations are razor sharp, near perfect, with an excellent tip serration. Excellent serrations - razor sharp! The root is an excellent light tan color with essentially no hydration cracks, very wide, and absolutely complete. Also note the interesting small side cusps - a Miocene Megalodon predecessor trait. This Chubutensis was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An excellent example of a classic Lee Creek Chubutensis tooth. An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Otodus megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Megalodon is an upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site.
