A Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from Harleyville, So. Carolina. Otodus sokolovi is the ancestor of O. auriculatus. An excellent lateral tooth. An excellent gray colored crown with a brown colored bourlette, and a light tan colored root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color & preservation. The serrations are large and razor sharp including the tip. Two large side cusps. The root is complete and very well preserved. Note - there is an unusual iron oxide coating on this tooth. It is very hard to find these teeth in perfect condition. An excellent collector's Harleyville O. sokolovi tooth! Authenticity guaranteed. Near perfect tooth. A rare, TOP QUALITY Megatherium americanum sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths from the Pampean region, Uruguay. A March Fossil of the Month. Megatherium is from the family of the largest Ground sloths. This claw has excellent preservation. It is complete down to an excellent tip with essentially no restoration or repair. There appears to be a 1.5” area of the top of the sheath rim on the back side that may have minor restoration (see photo - a small area). Excellent preservation of the proximal end. Arrhinoceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Horseshoe Canyon formation which has three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This epoccipital has excellent detail preserved and great color / patina. The epoccipitals were triangular bone ornaments that lined the top of the frill.  This epoccipital exhibits incredible detail and is very thick. Complete specimen with minor crack fill.
