A Devonian sea floor slab with a Eldredgops (Phacops) rana milleri trilobite from the Silica Shale Formation of Ohio. The also three large pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopods, three Mucrospirifer mucronatus brachiopods, and other specimens. The Eldredgops has excellent detail on the compound eyes - very well preserved. The quality of the Silica Shale Fm. fossils are incredible. A rare sea floor specimen from the Middle Devonian (380 mya), Silica Shale Fm. from Lucas Co., Ohio. You don't see multi-species slabs for sale. A Museum Quality specimen. A LARGE, TOP QUALITY serrated Nanotyrannus lancensis premaxillary tooth from the western US. A March Fossil of the Month. The premaxillary teeth were the front teeth, have a "D" shaped base, and were not large. Most Nano premaxillary teeth are non-serrate. This Nano has strong serrations - rare.  The right side serrations have some wear or damage. This tooth measures 7/8" (straight line). The enamel is excellent quality. No cracks. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Custer Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed.  An excellent collector's Nano tooth.

An ultra rare Top Quality, Stegosaurus plate. A February Fossil of the Month. This Stegosaurus plate is good sized and measures 17-1/2" wide x 13" high. The bone quality is exceptional with a black color. Excellent overall condition. There is limited crack fill, but there is no restoration. This is a large and all natural specimen. Stegosaurus was an iconic quadruped herbivore recognized by these plates lining its neck, back and tail during the late Jurassic. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed. A Top Quality Lambeosaur (Parasaurolophus) maxilla from the late Cretaceous (Judith River Fm.) of North America. An April Fossil of the Month. This is a complete upper jaw containing 100s exposed teeth. Parasaurolophus is a lambeosaur (crested) hadrosaur or "duck-bill" from the Judith River Formation in Montana. The maxilla possessed 100s teeth that were in rows of teeth which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a chewing surface to cut and grind their food. Bone quality is excellent. Minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Fergus Co., Mpntana. An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Nanotyrannus lancensis tooth from the western US. An October Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 2-1/4" (straight line). The enamel is excellent quality. The posterior serrations are exceptional and anterior serrations are excellent. A wide tooth with an extra large rectangular base with a typical Nano "pinched rectangle" cross-section. Possibly two cracks stabilized. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Lance Creek Fm., Niobrara Co., Wyoming. A Rare, "Flying" Minicryphaeus giganteus trilobite. Another November Fossil of the Month. The specimen has been expertly prepared to make it completely free standing in a flying position. This is a BIG trilobite with a very unique design. Incredible shell and spine preservation and incredible size for this rare species! A well defined rostrum and excellent compound eyes. Note-  a rather new trilobite which was first described and named in 2014. An Early Devonian (410 mya) trilobite from the Jbel El Mrakib area, Atlas Mts., Morocco.
