An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (lower anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown and a tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

A LARGE, TOP QUALITY, Isurus oxyrhincus tooth, the Shortfin Mako, from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Upper jaw anterior tooth. Excellent copper red color with exceptional gloss. A rare, High Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This Megalodon has an excellent blue colored tooth with a dark brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color!  The bourlette is large and 95%+ complete. The serrations are razor sharp and near complete with an excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations. An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Carcharocles megalodon posterior tooth from the Pamunkey River, Virginia. A rich copper-red color. Great color! The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are sharp and complete with a great tip serration. Bourlette is dark brown and mostly dentin layer. The root is complete. Definitely a Miocene Meg with serration bumps at base. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root. No repair or restoration.
