A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis node cluster from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes (2+ nodes). This spike has excellent color / patina with exceptional surface articulation. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. This is a node cluster with a large node surrounded by a group of small nodes. Note -  the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the node. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent and very rare collector's quality Pachychephalosaurus node cluster. A rare Mako shark tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth appear to be juvenile Isurus desori teeth (narrow crown) and are scarce in the Sumatran deposit. They were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. D051 is the upper jaw tooth on the left. Authenticity guaranteed.

A very rare, Otodus sokolovi upper jaw, anterior tooth from Kert, Mangyshlak, western Kazakhstan. A November Fossil of the Month. This location produces top quality teeth with brown colored enamel. The extra large bourlette that is complete. Nice extra coarse serrations and killer, large side cusps with very irregular serrations. A High Quality Thescelosaurus neglectus pes ungual (foot claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This claw is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. One crack is stabilized and the very end of the "wings" (the flat ledge below the blood groove) were filled for aesthetics - about a 1/16". Note - Thesc unguals are described as flat triangles.(see Thesc-Pachy claw differentiation discussion below). No restoration. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. Excellent preservation and serrations. Note - extra long root whorl section with 4 extra large crowns - very rare. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.
