A TOP QUALITY, LARGE Stylemys nebrascensis, a fossil tortoise shell, from the White River Badlands, Brule Formation, South Dakota. Fantastic color and preservation. Note that Stylemys is thought to be a burrowing tortoise which helps maintain the 3-D in aspect of the shell when they are died in their burrow. Exceptional preparation with a little restoration done to the left side (front view) which is minor and common for the White River tortoise shells. A Top Quality Thescelosaurus neglectus pes ungual (foot claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This claw is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. A little erosion at the tip, but otherwise a perfect claw. Note - Thesc unguals are described as flat triangles.(see Thesc-Pachy claw differentiation discussion below). No repair and no restoration. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A March Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek Formation. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved with excellent color and natural patina. Fantastic surface articulation. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. Plus the horn base end is completely cleaned to see the internal terminus of the horn - a very complete specimen (see photo). The preparation of the horn was fairly basic and simple with minor crack repair. No extensive repair or restoration. It comes with the custom steel stand as shown. A very rare, EXTRA LARGE Auriculatus lateral tooth from Peru with a tan crown and brown root. The serrations are very nice -  large and razor sharp. Excellent side cusp development. Excellent preservation. The only challenge with this tooth is a root break was repaired. These Peruvian Rics are very rare! You cannot find them any more. Authenticity guaranteed.

A GEM Harleyville Auriculatus tooth.  A less common lower jaw anterior tooth - a very difficult position tooth to find. Gorgeous gray colored crown with a black colored bourlette, and light gray root. Highest quality enamel! Exceptionally colored & preserved. The serrations are large and razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. The root is complete and very well preserved. It is very hard to find these teeth in perfect condition. Museum quality.  A killer collector's Harleyville Auriculatus tooth!

"Flaming Red Auric"  A very rare, EXTRA LARGE Auriculatus lateral tooth with a tan crown and a gorgeous, highly articulated red colored root. The bourlette is red colored, extra large, and nearly complete. The serrations are very nice -  large, razor sharp, and complete. Massive side cusps.  Incredible preservation -  among the finest you will see with an Auriculatus. The only challenge with this tooth is the left root corner broke during extraction and was reattached. The repair work is very well done and very hard to detect (no filler).   These Peruvian Aurics are very rare.
