A very rare, Otodus sokolovi upper jaw, anterior tooth from Kert, Mangyshlak, western Kazakhstan. A November Fossil of the Month. This location produces top quality teeth with brown colored enamel. A GEM, Lee Creek Carcharocles chubutensis, a C. megalodon predecessor, from Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth was given the name the "Oreo Chub" with its black and white bourlette. Very rare colors for Lee Creek. A May Fossil of the Month. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note the crown exhibits large cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - C. chubutensis. A gorgeous tan &  blue colored crown with an incredible black & white bourlette. Fantastic serrations with a nearly perfect with damage to one. The root is dark brown with small hydration cracks. Highest quality enamel! Excellent color! No repair or restoration. An Ultra Rare, GEM Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain silt near Bakersfield, California. This colorful tooth was found in a "fire zone" site south of the Kern River. Highest quality enamel with a great tan and golden tan colors with charcoal highlights. An ULTRA RARE Top Quality, 6-1/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. A February Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with brown bourlette, and light tan root. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The serrations are razor sharp and essentially complete including an excellent tip serration. Incredible serrations for a BIG Megalodon tooth. A beautifully prepared, Asaphus kowalewskii trilobite from the Vilpovitsy quarry, Saint Petersburg region, Russia. There are also two Echinosphaerites, a genus of rhombiferan cystoid echinoderms.  This trilobite has a very nice three lobe design, and interesting extended eye stalks that have evolved to see in soft & murky sediment. An Extra Large, Top Quality Priscacara (Cockerellites) liops fish from the 18" layer, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. The Priscacara liops is an extinct Perch from the Eocene age (50 MYA). A High Quality Thescelosaurus neglectus ilium (hip bone) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The ilium is the weight bearing bone in the hip and it also is bone rarely seen. The hip socket area is well preserved. This bone quality is excellent with excellent color and patina. An EXTRA LARGE, GEM Tyrannosaurus rex tooth. This crown measures 3-1/2" and is extra thick (1-1/4"). The GEM quality 3"+ teeth are also the "holy grail" collector's T-Rex tooth.
