An ultra rare Mosasaur matrix piece with two Top Quality Mosasaurus (Prognathodon) anceps teeth with their original roots. Another May 2018 Fossil of the Month selection. Includes a massive 5-1/2" tooth and a 3" tooth in the original matrix. Both are fully rooted and perfect teeth which is very rare! This is not your typical Mosasaur crown glued to a root. This is an all original, associated specimen (beware of the fakes - discussion below). Exceptional condition and preservation.  No repair or restoration. Museum Quality. The only authentic Mosasaur specimen with two original rooted teeth that I have seen!  Note - the large Moroccan Mosasaurs are being renamed to a Prognathodon genus. Authenticity guaranteed.

A very rare Glyphis glyphis tooth, the Speartooth shark, from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. D186 is a very nice upper jaw anterior tooth. Note -tooth in the right. Authenticity guaranteed.

The Kolbay Collection. A Top Quality Hispidaspis lasuri tooth from Kolbay, W. Kazakhstan. A lateral tooth. Note - This species is known for their multiple, highly irregular side cusps which can cover the entire root shoulder and the base of the crown. Very strange! Great color and condition. An extinct early rabbit jaw (Palaeolagus haydeni) from Sioux Co., Nebraska. Palaeolagus was one of many mammals that thrived in the Early Oligocene in North America. Found in the Brule Fm. (Rupelian) 33 - 30 million years ago. A very well preserved specimen. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. This item comes witha 2"x 2" floating frame display.

An Extra Large, GEM Harleyville Auriculatus tooth.  An excellent upper jaw lateral tooth. A November Fossil of the Month. Gorgeous tan crown with a brown colored bourlette, and tan root. Highest quality enamel. Incredible color & preservation. The serrations are large and razor sharp with a big tip serration. The root is complete with excellent preservation on the display side. A rare, Cretaceous shark vertebra with excellent color. Exceptional concentric growth rings well preserved. Very thick at 1/2". Centra faces are very clean and very well preserved. Cretaceous age.Excellent quality.
