A September Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. This is a great frill section with exceptional detail preserved. Excellent color and patina. You can see all of the natural blood grooves across the surface of the frill. A rare, TOP QUALITY Triceratops horridus hoof core (pes claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This adult hoof core has exceptional detail preserved and excellent color & patina. Note - Triceratops hoof cores are generally smaller than Hadrosaur, have a very rugous surface, have a characteristeristic "shallow ledge" on the under side, have less height than Hadrosaur, and are much more difficult to find. This hoof core has  the correct features is is incredibly preserved. Legally collected on private land in Carter Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. True Triceratops hoof cores are very difficult to locate, and this is a unique example!

A rare, TOP Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This Megalodon has an excellent light tan colored crown with a unique brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Good color!  The bourlette is large and essentially complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent "needle-like" tip serration. Excellent  serrations. The root is excellent and complete with little erosion on the display side. Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed. A special collector's Meg tooth.

A Very Rare, Top Quality Hexanchus microdon lower jaw tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. This is a newly named species from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A species of Hexanchiforme shark. The crown is complete with 7 cusplets and the root has very small damage. High quality enamel. No repair. A very difficult tooth to locate and an excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. This incredible specimen is from a 20 year old collection. My best Hexanchus specimen.
