A ~6" Bone Valley Megalodon upper jaw anterior tooth from the Peace River, Florida. An EXCELLENT GRAY colored crown. Very good color and overall shape! Quality enamel with some wear. The bourlette is black colored, large and near complete. The serrations are worn, but are clearly visible includung the tip. The root is black, extra wide, and complete with typical hydration cracks. A rare Top Quality, transition GW tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw anterior tooth. The C. hubbelli serrations are full at the base of the cutting edge, transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent tan colored crown and brown root with well pronounced maroon colored gum line. Excellent color. The crown edge starts with two oversized serrations at the base and quickly transforms into "Escheri-like" wavy serrations. An early stage transition form. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. An exceptional GW transition form!  It will be extremely difficult to locate Carcharodon hubbelli since there is no new supply.

An incredible Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia and a June 2018 Fossil of the Month. The crown has a fantastic charcoal gray with light gray and black serrations. The crown also has a very unique wide” spade-like” shape. The enamel is the Highest Quality; glass-like with few hydration cracks! An exceptional, extra large black bourlette – nearly perfect. Razor sharp serrations including an exceptional tip serration. Nearly perfect serrations! The root is nicely articulated, brown colored, and complete. This Georgia Meg is very special – a real “looker”. Definitely a Miocene age Meg tooth with small Chubutensis like bumps at the base of the crown and grooves along the edge of the root lobes. Note - these Georgia Megs are fantastic - essentially no sign of wear and excellent preservation. A Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia. A MArch Fossil of the Month. The crown has excellent Blue color. The enamel is the Highest Quality with very small hydration cracks. An BLACK colored bourlette which is mostly complete. Razor sharp, extra large serrations including an excellent tip serration. The root is a charcoal color, nicely articulated, and complete. This tooth has extra large root end grooves and the base of the serrations has two unique pathologies (possible Chubutensis? (see close up photos) Traits of a Miocene age Megalodon tooth. A TOP QUALITY, ~6" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our June 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible golden tan colored crown with an exceptional mahogany brown bourlette - essentially complete with two toned color. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional golden tan enamel! The bourlette is extra large and near perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Nearly PERFECT serrations (a few serrations damaged near the base  - all serrations are razor sharp. Exceptional serrations for a really big Meg! The root is an excellent tan color with very few no hydration cracks and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Yorktown Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Pliocene age = 4.5 MYA). The finest example of a 6" classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth that I have seen considering the shape, color, and preservation. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with brown bourlette, and light tan root. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The serrations are razor sharp and essentially complete including an excellent tip serration. Incredible serrations for a BIG Megalodon tooth. The bourlette has a nice contrast -  mostly dentin layer. The root is nicely articulated and complete with an excellent light tan color. It is also wide (4-5/8") with essentially no hydration cracks. This Megalodon was found in the Yorktown Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Pliocene age = 4.5 MYA). An excellent BIG collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine!
