A RARE, Top Quality Acheroraptor temertyorum (raptor) tooth from Montana. Acheroraptor temertyorum is one of two recently described Hell Creek Fm. raptors, and it is a close relative of Velociraptor. This tooth is 3/8" which is a typical size. The enamel is excellent with a great brown color. Multiple prominent longitudinal "ribs" run the length of the crown. Excellent large posterior and small anterior serrations. See unique crown characteristic discussion below. No repair or restoration. A rare, TOP QUALITY Triceratops horridus hoof core (pes claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This adult hoof core has exceptional detail preserved and excellent color & patina. Note - Triceratops hoof cores are generally smaller than Hadrosaur, have a very rugous surface, have a characteristeristic "shallow ledge" on the under side, have less height than Hadrosaur, and are much more difficult to find. This hoof core has  the correct features is is incredibly preserved. Legally collected on private land in Carter Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. True Triceratops hoof cores are very difficult to locate, and this is a unique example!
