A rare, High Quality, 6-1/2" Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw tooth from South Carolina. An excellent Dark Gray colored crown. High quality enamel. The bourlette is a nice dark brown color. The serrations are large and sharp. The root is charcoal color, nicely articulated, extra wide (5-1/8"), and complete with typical cracks. No repair or restoration. A rare well preserved, Cave Hyena jaw section with three teeth (Crocuta crocuta spelaea) from the Yakutsk Region, Siberia. The Cave Hyena is also known as the Ice Age Spotted Hyena. These extra large hyenas lived in the mountain caves from central Europe to Russia.
