A High Quality, Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - lower jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. This Megalodon has a nice tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. The bourlette is excellent and near complete. The serrations are sharp, but the tip was lost in a feeding frenzy. The root is an excellent tan color with few hydration cracks and absolutely complete with cool groove on the root lobes. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An excellent collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! A GEM, 6-3/16" ULTRA RARE Caribbean Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. Our January 2019 Fossil of the Month offering. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light creamy tan colored crown with interesting light charcoal gray patterning. Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. Exceptional color! The bourlette is large and perfect. The serrations are razor sharp including the big tip serration. Excellent serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent creamy tan color with no hydration cracks. An extra wide root (4-7/8" wide). Great symmetry. Note - the serrations on the right side of the tooth were damaged and professionlly restored. The damaged area was restricted to the edge only. You can see the charcoal gray patterning patterning extending to the edge of the enamel. Otherwise, a perfect tooth. This Megalodon was found in a limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredible, massive 6-3/16" Caribbean Meg tooth. One of finest examples of an ultra rare Caribbean Megalodon tooth that I have seen considering the shape, color, and preservation. An ULTRA RARE, TOP QUALITY white colored Carcharocles chubutensis tooth - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth from Calvert Cliffs, Maryland. A November Fossil of the Month. This Chubutensis tooth is esentially perfect. The enamel is highest quality with no peel. The white bourlette is 100% complete. The serrations are awesome and complete with slight damage to one. Side cusps are perfect. The root has cool grooves on the root ends and has a small chip on the reverse side. An early Miocene, Calvert Formation tooth. NO repair or restoration. A May Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with a large brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! A High Quality , 4-1/8" ULTRA RARE Caribbean Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible very light creamy tan colored crown with interesting light charcoal gray patterning. High quality enamel with no hydration cracks. The Caribbean Megalodon teeth consistently offer the closest to white colored enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large and essentially perfect. The serrations are razor sharp including a worn tip serration. Excellent serrations! The root is an excellent creamy tan color with no hydration cracks. Great symmetry. Note - there was a 1/4" strip of the serrations on the right side of the tooth saw cut near the base and it was professionally restored. The damaged area was restricted to the edge only.
