A Top Quality BLUE petrified limb section from Java, Indonesia. This petrified wood is Pliocene age (3 MYA). A natural fossil wood section that is covered with light blue (crystaline opal?) mineral. It appears to be from one of the secret Indonesian blue opal sites, but this limb had no cavities for the opal to form. Limb section length is 8-1/2" and makes a good display with a fantastic blue color. This piece exhibits good preservation and color. Authenticity guaranteed. A Top Quality, Extra Large rare transition GW tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw anterior tooth. Another December 2017 Fossil of the Month. The C. hubbelli serrations are full at the base of the cutting edge, transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent blue colored crown ("blue site"), brown root, and a vivid dark maroon "gum line". Excellent color. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. An exceptional GW transition form!  It will be extremely difficult to locate another large, top quality Carcharodon hubbelli since the few that exist are buried in collections.

A LARGE, Top Quality Great White shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from Western Cape Province, So. Africa. This tooth has a blue colored crown, a large distinct brown gum line, and a brown root. A Top Quality Eurypterus lacustris, the "Sea Scorpion", from Buffalo, New York. A November Fossil of the Month. This is a spooky looking arthropod that are related to arachnids, such as, the Horseshoe crab. It was found in the Williamsville Fm., Bertie Group of western New York and it is Silurian age (430 mya). A complete specimen that is nicely displayed on shale matirx. A very rare, colorful GEM Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth. This tooth measures 2-1/16".  A June Fossil of the Month. The enamel has an exceptional two-tone color and patina (see Photos #2 & 3).  Incredible natural gloss. Exceptional mesial and distal serrations. Base cross-section is a tall oval.
