Note - this tooth has a lot of pyrite and the tip is naturally rounded (polished)  which thought to be due to the vertical whipping motion used to slice prey.  Excellent preservation, serrations, and serration detail. A TOP QUALITY Rebbachisaurus tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. Rebbachisaurus is the only named sauropod dinosaur found in the Kem Kem basin, and they are quite scarce. Incredible detail. Exceptional condition and preservation. This tooth has a small natural wear facet. Please note that most the Kem Kem site teeth referred as "Rebbachisaurus" teeth are actually Titanosaurid teeth (see discussion below). This tooth fits the Rebbachisaurus description. No repair. A GEM, Lee Creek Carcharocles chubutensis, a C. megalodon predecessor, from Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth was given the name the "Oreo Chub" with its black and white bourlette. Very rare colors for Lee Creek. A May Fossil of the Month. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note the crown exhibits large cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - C. chubutensis. A gorgeous tan &  blue colored crown with an incredible black & white bourlette. Fantastic serrations with a nearly perfect with damage to one. The root is dark brown with small hydration cracks. Highest quality enamel! Excellent color! No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. I have only seen one LC Chub like this one -  the "Oreo Chub" is a Lee Creek rarity!

An ultra rare Top Quality Stegoceras validum dome (frontoparietal skull bone) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. Stegoceras is a smaller sized pachycephalosaurid dinosaur, and like Pachycephalosaurus, it is a dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by spikes. This is excellent quality juvenile dome with good color / patina. No cracks or restoration. There is a small sheer on the left side that occured prior to fossilization since it has the natural patina. Otherwise a complete dome. An ultra rare Stegoceras dome!  Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Stegoceras dome. Comes with a Riker display case.
