A Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth has short pathologic ribs in the enamel. Possibly an attempt to create serrations. There have been some C. hubellii GW transition teeth found in the mine.  This tooth has a rich two-tone tan crown and a light tan colored root. A LARGE Scaldicetus sp., a Sperm whale, tooth from Caldera area of Chile. An incredible late Miocene Sperm whale tooth from the Bahia Inglesa Fm. This tooth has great preservation and a fantastic brown color There a small amount of matrix on the rear. A very rare, LARGE Megalodon tooth from New Caledonia. These Megalodon teeth are dredged from the New Caledonia area between Fiji and Australia. The deposit covers about 5 square miles and the water is about 1,000 feet deep. All dredging has stopped and no new teeth are available. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light tan color.
