An Ultra Rare, Extra Large Pappocetus lugardi (Andrews, 1920) pre-molar tooth from Morocco. Pappocetus was in the Protocetidae family of ancient whales . Note - molar tooth design is one of the distinguishing features for indentifying this species. This material is a new find and represents one of the earliest transition forms of the whale. Pappocetus is a protocetid (see discussion below) and a large amphibious aquatic carnivore. Pappocetus is also an ancestor of the Basilosaurus. This material is complete and without repair. Crack fill only on some pieces. This is an opportunity to own an incredibly rare specimen from an early evolutionary stage of the modern whale. A fantastic collector's specimen. Excellent sharp serrations and a complete root. One of the finest examples of a extra large No. American Great White shark tooth considering the shape, color, and preservation. NO repair! The BEST of the BEST! One of my favorites. It will be difficult to find No. American GW tooth like this one. This is one of three of the finest Great White shark teeth that I have seen from this site.

A Top Quality, 5-5/16" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color!  The serrations are razor sharp with an unique pathologic tip. Tip has a slight twist and serrations were not formed. Very strange. The root is an excellent tan color and extra wide (4-5/8") with typical hydration cracks and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An excellent BIG collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! A rare, TOP Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This Megalodon has an excellent tan colored crown with a gorgeous golden tan colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Great color!  The bourlette is large and complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent "needle-like" tip serration. Excellent  serrations.
