An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY, classic Lee Creek Chubutensis tooth (predecessor of Megalodon) - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Another December 2017 Fossil fo the Month.This Chubutensis has an incredible light gray colored crown with fades to a golden tan. The bourlette is essentially complete and a great light brown color. Highest quality enamel with a no hydration cracks. Exceptional color! The serrations are razor sharp - near perfect with a needle-like tip serration. The root is an excellent light tan color and absolutely complete. This Chubutensis was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). NO repair! Authenticity guaranteeed. One of the finest examples of a classic Lee Creek Megs considering the shape, color, and preservation. Incredible size and eye appeal. A rare, Top Quality Triceratops horridus rooted tooth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Another July 2018 Fossil of the Month. Triceratops is a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The enamel is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. Extra large root which is quite rare. Incredible preservation of the crown and root that shows their intricate detail. The chewing surface measures 1-1/14” with a very high ridge. This is a recently erupted tooth that has slight tip wear. No cracks or restoration. A rare rooted, extra large Triceratops tooth! Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Carter Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Triceratops tooth. Note - tooth comes with a Riker type frame. Authenticity guaranteed. My largest and best triceratops tooth!

A TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE & very rare Archaeocete whale, Zygorhiza kochii, from Harleyville, So. Carolina. Our 2nd November Fossil of the Month is a highly desirable Zygorhiza molar or "yoke" tooth.  An exceptional chocolate brown colored crown and tan root. The crown has fantastic articulation with incredible detail. Complete root. This tooth has minimal repair to tips of the 3 cusps on the left side only. Very little repair overall for a yoke tooth which are typically heavily repaired.  One of the BEST Archaeocete molars that I have seen from So. Carolina in a long time. A very rare collector's tooth. Museum Quality.  Note - 6" x 8" Riker frame included. One of my favorites!

An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Otodus megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Megalodon is an upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. Excellent copper red color. The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are large and sharp. Bourlette is a dark brown  dentin layer. The root is complete. A Miocene Meg tooth. No repair or restoration. An old collection piece from the rarest location to find a top quality Megalodon tooth - rarer than Lee Creek, Peru, Bone Valley, etc. Authenticity guaranteed.
