An ultra rare Top Quality, Stegosaurus plate. A February Fossil of the Month. This Stegosaurus plate is good sized and measures 17-1/2" wide x 13" high. The bone quality is exceptional with a black color. Excellent overall condition. There is limited crack fill, but there is no restoration. This is a large and all natural specimen. Stegosaurus was an iconic quadruped herbivore recognized by these plates lining its neck, back and tail during the late Jurassic. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed. A MONSTER, 6-1/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with a large brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The crown is very wide (4-3/8") - incredible! The bourlette is excellent, extra large and 40% perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. Good serrations for a big Meg tooth - razor sharp! The root is an gray color with typical hydration cracks and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Yorktown Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Pliocene age = 4.5 MYA). A rare, TOP Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This Megalodon has an excellent tan colored crown with a gorgeous golden tan colored bourlette. There is a fantastic multi-color pattern on the front of the tooth. Highest quality enamel. Great color!  The bourlette is large and essentially complete.
