An Ultra Rare, Hexanchus griseus symphyseal tooth from the Sacaco area of Peru. A March Fossil of the Month. This is the nicest complete lower jaw symphyseal (center) tooth that I have seen. Superb preservation and color. Eleven very large and sharp primary cusps. Perfect cusps! An excellent essentially complete root. No repair or restoration. A Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth has short pathologic ribs in the enamel. Possibly an attempt to create serrations. There have been some C. hubellii GW transition teeth found in the mine.  This tooth has a rich tan crown and a light tan colored root. An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper jaw lateral tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich  tan crown and a light tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY, classic Lee Creek Chubutensis tooth (predecessor of Megalodon) - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Another December 2017 Fossil fo the Month.This Chubutensis has an incredible light gray colored crown with fades to a golden tan. The bourlette is essentially complete and a great light brown color. Highest quality enamel with a no hydration cracks. Exceptional color! The serrations are razor sharp - near perfect with a needle-like tip serration. An ultra rare MONSTER, 3-3/16" Great White shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm., Chile. A March Fossil of the Month.This tooth is huge and extra wide (2-1/8"). It has a rich tan colored crown and a goden tan root. Fantantic color! Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks or peeling. Serrations are exceptional - very large with a big tip serration. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. Note -  the root appears to have two cracks and was most likely reattached without fill or restoration.  A HUGE Chilean Great White collector's tooth and display. Authenticity guaranteed.
