A rare Top Quality Triceratops horridus occipital condyle from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. This is a beautiful 3-3/4" occipital condyle with excellent detail preserved. This large codyle has fantastic color and patina plus a large section of braincase is attached. Note - The occipital condyle was the connection point of the Triceratops massive skull to the vertebrae column, and it allowed for maximum rotation of the head. No repair or restoration. There is a small amount of repair at the base. Legally collected on private land in Powder River Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - this specimen weighs 2.5 lbs. An ultra rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis  rooted premaxillary tooth. This Allosaurus crown measures 15/16". The complete tooth measures 2-7/16" and 1/2" wide and is fully inflated. The enamel is highest quality with a natural wear facet at the tip. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent serrations. Great overall condition and serrations. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. Very good bone quality and color. The vertebra is very complete with both processes and a good section of the neural arch with a well defined neural notch remains. Very good bone preservation. A LARGE, rare Top Quality Carcharomodus escheri, a "serrated Mako" shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & distally inclined crown, and side cusplets. This tooth has good color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). An excellent rare collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
