A TOP QUALITY rare Araucaria mirabilis pine cone cut and polished specimen from Argentina. These Jurassic pine cones are exquisite and known for their highy quality and extreme preservation. This tooth has a rich tan crown and a light tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Sharp cutting edge. The rear top of root has a "shoulder" build up, a characteristic of Isurus retroflexus. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult tooth to source.
