An EXTRA LARGE, pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopod from the Silica Shale Fm., Sylvania, Ohio. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs, and this is a big one. Both valves present  - complete specimen and matrix free. Note -  1-1/2" thick and heavy! This is a Devonian (395 mya) brachiopod. The big Silica Fm. brachiopod. An EXTRA LARGE, very rare, GEM Quality Parotodus benedeni  tooth with a massive root from Euhaw Creek, Jasper Co., So. Carolina. A Miocene-Pliocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. Nice Charcoal Gray color. Lateral tooth. Highest quality enamel with razor sharp edges and a "needle-like" sharp tip. A very rare, early Macrorhizodus nolfi upper jaw, lateral tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. Macrorhizodus nolfi is a Lamnidae shark and an early Mako shark (Isurus praecursor) relative in this early Eocene deposit. The side cusps are complete. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. Perfect tooth.

A Very Rare, Quality Protoheptranchias lowei lower jaw tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. This is a new genius from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species of Hexanchiforme shark. The crown is incomplete with 4 cusplets  and the root is incomplete (partial tooth).  High quality enamel. No repair.
