A very rare, Trigonotodus alteri shark tooth, an extinct Giant Thresher, from So. Carolina. Nice tan color. A rare, EXTRA LARGE Top Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This 6" Megalodon has an excellent red & tan colored tooth with a unique brown colored bourlette with "lightning strikes". High quality enamel. Exceptional color! The bourlette is extra large and 95% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent tip serration. An ultra rare Top Quality juvenile, Allosaurus fragilis tooth with a complete root. This Allosaurus crown measures 1-13/16", and it is displayed on its Morrison Fm. matrix. The enamel is high quality. Great rich brown color. Good posterior and anterior serrations. Very good overall condition and serrations. Normal crack fill. No restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Bob Simon Quarry, Morrison Fm., Carbon Co., Wyoming. An ultra rare, HIGH QUALITY Red Site Otodus (Carcharocles) megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an upper jaw tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. NC009 has good copper red color. The enamel is the good quality. The serrations are sharp including the tip. Bourlette is dark brown and near complete. The root has some damage. A Miocene Meg tooth. A GEM , CLASSIC Lee Creek Carcharocles chubutensis, a C. megalodon predecessor, from Aurora, No. Carolina. A rare posterior tooth. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note the crown exhibits large cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - C. chubutensis. A gorgeous light tan colored crown with an excellent hazel brown bourlette. A Gem Quality Miocene-Pliocene Mastodon molar from Florida. Incredible color (red, gold & brown) and detail. An August Fossil of the Month.
