A High Quality Thescelosaurus neglectus pes ungual (foot claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This claw is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. One crack is stabilized and the very end of the "wings" (the flat ledge below the blood groove) were filled for aesthetics - about a 1/16". Note - Thesc unguals are described as flat triangles.(see Thesc-Pachy claw differentiation discussion below). No restoration. A LARGE, Top Quality Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis pes ungual (foot claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by spikes. This ungual has exceptional color and patina. Overall an excellect pes ungual. An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Nanotyrannus lancensis tooth from the western US. An October Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 2-1/4" (straight line). The enamel is excellent quality. The posterior serrations are exceptional and anterior serrations are excellent. A wide tooth with an extra large rectangular base with a typical Nano "pinched rectangle" cross-section. A very rare,Top Quality Anzu wyliei finger from the Hell Creek Fm. of So. Dakota. A september Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell", a large Hell Creek Fm. oviraptor. This is the 2nd finger with a non-assciated manus claw and digit. The manus claw is top quality with minor crack fill. Excellent rich brown color and patina. A LARGE, TOP QUALITY serrated Nanotyrannus lancensis premaxillary tooth from the western US. The premaxillary teeth were the front teeth, have a "D" shaped base, and were not large. Most Nano premaxillary teeth are non-serrate. This Nano has small serrations on one side - rare.  This premaxillary (front) tooth measures 1" (straight line).  The enamel is excellent quality. An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY, classic Lee Creek Chubutensis tooth (predecessor of Megalodon) - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Another December 2017 Fossil fo the Month.This Chubutensis has an incredible light gray colored crown with fades to a golden tan. The bourlette is essentially complete and a great light brown color. Highest quality enamel with a no hydration cracks. Exceptional color! The serrations are razor sharp - near perfect with a needle-like tip serration. The root is an excellent light tan color and absolutely complete. This Chubutensis was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). NO repair! A Top Quality, LARGE Zilchovaspis rogusa trilobite from Morocco. It has German controlled preparation and retains all natural color and detail. Preparation easily took many dozens of hours to clean this specimen. Incredible prep work!
