A TOP QUALITY Deltadromeus tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. Sharp serrations. Excellent red color. Great preservation. Great posterior profile curve. An excellent tooth from a mid size Cretaceous theropod. No cracks. No repair or restoration. These teeth are very uncommon. Please see my Deltadromeus tooth discussion below. This is my best estimate of this species based upon the characteristics of this theropod and distinguishing it from other known Kem Kem theropod species. A very rare, early Macrorhizodus nolfi upper jaw, lateral tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. Macrorhizodus nolfi is a Lamnidae shark and an early Mako shark (Isurus praecursor) relative in this early Eocene deposit. The side cusps are complete. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. The October 2015 Week #2 FOTM is a rare, TOP QUALITY North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon. An excellent tooth from the copper-red site. It has an incredible copper-red colored crown. The enamel is the highest possible quality with small hydration cracks. A nice dark brown bourlette. Exceptional serrations and tip - one serration missing. Incredible condition for a big NC Meg. A rare Megalodon tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. This Meg is serrated. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth.
