A very rare, early Macrorhizodus nolfi upper jaw, lateral tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. Macrorhizodus nolfi is a Lamnidae shark and an early Mako shark (Isurus praecursor) relative in this early Eocene deposit. The side cusps are complete. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. The October 2015 Week #2 FOTM is a rare, TOP QUALITY North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon. An excellent tooth from the copper-red site. It has an incredible copper-red colored crown. The enamel is the highest possible quality with small hydration cracks. A nice dark brown bourlette. Exceptional serrations and tip - one serration missing. Incredible condition for a big NC Meg. An excellent dark brown root, extra wide and slight damage on the reverse. Fantastic triangular shape. A gorgeous North Carolina copper-red Megalodon shark tooth. An exceptional collector's tooth. A Very Rare, Top Quality Paraorthacodus rossi tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. This is a newly named species from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species believed to be Palaeospinacidae shark. The crown and root are mostly complete with slight damage to the central cusp and one side cusp. High quality enamel. No repair. A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A rare Megalodon tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. This Meg is serrated. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth.
