A Colorful, LARGE "Twisted Tip" Megalodon  - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has a Black draped over Silver gray colored crown with a dark brown & black colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The bourlette is large & complete. The serrations are razor sharp with a rare "twisted tip". Excellent  serrations. Very cool! The root is excellent with a nicely articulated surface & complete with a small amount of erosion on the display side. Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed. A very rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni lateral tooth with a massive root from the St. Mary's River, Georgia. A Miocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. An August Fossil of the Month. A Top Quality, Extra Large Sperm whale tooth, Scaldicetus sp., from the ACE river basin, So. Carolina. A Miocene age whale tooth. This tooth has a wonderful spiked enamel crown and a large, nearly complete round root. The tip of the crown has a small natural wear facet - quite common for these teeth. This tooth shows excellent detail - very well preserved. The root is extra wide and nicely articulated. A very well preserved specimen with no river wear! An excellent BIG Sperm whale tooth. A natural Hoploscaphites nodosus ammonite and a Nautilus (Eutrephoceras) with excellent preservation of the shell material. A December Fossil of the Month. This ammonite species exhibits big ribs with large tubercles (nodes). Both ammonites are nicely displayed on their original Pierre Shale matrix with a flat base. Matrix size is 4.5" x 2.5".
