An ultra rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth - a large Rex tooth with a partial root (not a shed tooth). An August Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 2-3/4".  The enamel has exceptional color and patina. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. The serrations are large and wrap around the tip. This tooth was recently erupted and had no tip wear. No hydration cracks or breaks. Note - the root section is 1-1/4"+ and with a wall that is nearly 1/4" thick. Not likely a shed tooth breaking that deep below the gum line. 100% natural tooth. A top quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A Top Quality Macginitiea wyomingensis leaf the from Green River Fm., Douglas Pass, Garfield Co., Colorado. The Macginitiea wyomingensis is a Sycamore leaf from the Eocene age (48 MYA) in the ancient Lake Unita deposit. This piece exhibits exceptional preservation and color. A extremely rare, Top Quality Cetorhinus parvus gill raker, an extinct Basking shark, from the Mainz Basin, Germany. Gill rakers were used to filter plankton by these masive sharks. A FANTASTIC polished display piece with two exposed EXTRA LARGE ammonites and an orthoceras. A third ammonite is also exposed when viewed from the top. All showing the intricate internal chamber structure.The rock matrix is a beautiful marble material and the Ammonite cavities are mineral filled!
