A rare, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens finger from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The finger includes two carpals and a manus claw. Edmontosaurus was mainly bipedal, but could walk on all four legs in search of food. As noted by the front leg size difference, Edmontosaurus could put little weight on them. Excellent bone quality. Minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Harding Co., So. Dakota. An Ultra Rare, GEM Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Meg teeth to locate. A March 2021 Fossil of the Month. This colorful tooth was found in a "fire zone" site south of the Kern River. Highest quality enamel with a great tan and golden tan colors with charcoal highlights.
