A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn section from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A November Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek Formation. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved with excellent color and natural patina. Incredible surface articulation. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. The preparation of the horn was very basic with one crack repair. An EXTRA LARGE, Colorful, Top Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has a tan colored crown with a GOLDEN tan  colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The bourlette is complete. The serrations are razor sharp with a razor sharp tip serration. Excellent serrations with one strange area. As seen on the left side of  photo #1, the serrations are short and each serration is perfectly rounded. This area appears to be a natural wear facet from striking an opposing tooth. extremely uncommon in sharks. Very strange. The root is excellent, great white color, and essentially complete with no display side erosion.  Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed. A rare, Top Quality Cetorhinus parvus gill raker, an extinct Basking shark, from the Mainz Basin, Germany. Gill rakers were used to filter plankton by these masive sharks. An early Oligocene age tooth (Rupelian - 32 MYA). An excellent gill raker for the rare tooth collector! No repair or restoration. Near perfect gill raker. Authenticity guaranteed.
