An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Thescelosaurus neglectus caudal (tail) vertebra chevron from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A March Fossil of the Month. Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The chevron is the appendage that resides below the tail vertebra that provides structure to the base of the tail. Chevron bones rarely survive and this one is 99% complete - very rare! This bone quality is excellent with excellent color and patina. No repair or restoration. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the skull. This spike has excellent color / patina. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from Harleyville, So. Carolina. Otodus sokolovi is the ancestor of O. auriculatus. An excellent anterior tooth. A March Fossil of the Month.  An excellent gray colored crown with a brown colored bourlette, and a tan colored root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color & preservation. The serrations are large and razor sharp including the tip. Two large side cusps. The root is complete, very thick (1"),  and very well preserved. Ankylosaurus and Denversaurus, a Nodosaur, were the two Ankylosaurs present in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek Formations.  A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. A TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Flint River, Georgia. An exceptional molar tooth (see photo for tooth positions). A July Fossil of the Month.
