A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A March Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek Formation. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved with excellent color and natural patina. Fantastic surface articulation. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. Plus the horn base end is completely cleaned to see the internal terminus of the horn - a very complete specimen (see photo). The preparation of the horn was fairly basic and simple with minor crack repair. No extensive repair or restoration. It comes with the custom steel stand as shown. An ULTRA Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield California. A December 2022 Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a highly desirable light tan enamel and a very massive root. This Parotodus benedeni tooth remains mounted on the original Round Mountain Silt matrix and it is sitting on a chunk of whale bone. The crown enamel has very good luster and very sharp edges. Highest quality enamel! Note -  a small (~1/8") tip repair was professionally done.  A very difficult tooth to locate and an EXCEPTIONAL Collector's tooth! An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Scyphocrinites elegans crinoid from Alnif, Morocco. The Scyphocrinites crinoid was a floating variety which was attached to a holdfast air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx ("flowers"). This crinoid has a bulbous calyx with incredible detail. This crinoid has a good sized stem section of 3-3/4". These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. Museum Quality specimen. A RARE, High Quality Saurornitholestes langstoni (raptor) tooth from Montana. Saurornitholestes langstoni, “Langston's lizard-bird thief”, is currently the only described Judith River Fm. raptor, and it is a close relative of Velociraptor. This tooth is 3/8" which is a large size. The enamel is excellent with a great brown color. This species is known for large posterior serrations that will turn upwards.
