A rare, EXTRA LARGE Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could be Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A July Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 3-1/16" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is highest quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations and posterior serrations are excellent.  Note - the large base height & width. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone quality is excellent with excellent color and patina. This osteoderm has a high ridge on one side. There are some hydration cracks and crack fill. No restoration. A rare, Top Quality Triceratops horridus epoccipital (frill ornament) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This epoccipital has excellent detail preserved and great color / patina. The epoccipitals were triangular bone ornaments that lined the top of the frill. The young Triceratops had narrow and tall epoccipitals, older juvenile Triceratops had low and wide epoccipitals, and adult Triceratops no longer had this ornament. You can see this epoccipital is narrow which are characteristics of a young Triceratops. A LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens toe from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is a non-associated set of toe bones from the outer toe (toe IV - see diagram), and it consists of four four toe bones (Phalanx 1 thru 4) and a pes hoof core (ungual). Bone quality is excellent with minor crack fill on Phalanx 1 & 2 only. Other pieces are perfect including an exceptional pes ungual. No restoration. A very rare Top Quality, Allosaurus & Camarasaurus toe bone from the Morrison Fm. These toe bones are complete, and they reside on an Allosaurus  vertebra neural section as originally found. The Allosaurus toe bone is 2-1/2" and the Camarasaurus toe bone measures 2-3/8" in length. High quality bone. Rich brown color. Very good overall condition with minor bone erosion. Normal crack fill. No restoration. An EXTRA LARGE RARE, Top Quality Acheroraptor temertyorum (raptor) tooth from Montana. Acheroraptor temertyorum is one of two recently described Hell Creek Fm. raptors, and it is a close relative of Velociraptor. A premaxillary or dentary anterior tooth. This tooth is 1/2"+ which is an extra large size. The enamel is excellent with a great brown color. Multiple prominent longitudinal "ribs" run the length of the crown.
