A rare, strange Top Quality Pathologic Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth Mako, shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. The left root lobe folded behind the tooth and smashed into the back of the root. The crown has multiple waves. Excellent color and preservation. Complete tooth. Top quality. Authenticity guaranteed. A rare, Top Quality Anzu wyliei toe (pes) claw from the Judith River Fm. of Montana. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An excellent pes claw. Good light brown color and patina. This specimen has good perservation with minor erosion. There is a very small tip repair whic is common. A quality, collector's claw from the JUdith River of Montana. A TOP QUALITY, Classic Lee Creek Chubutensis tooth - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is excellent and perfect. The serrations are razor sharp, near perfect, with an excellent tip serration. Excellent serrations - razor sharp! The root is an excellent light tan color with essentially no hydration cracks, very wide, and absolutely complete. Also note the interesting small side cusps - a Miocene Megalodon predecessor trait. This Chubutensis was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An excellent example of a classic Lee Creek Chubutensis tooth. A TOP QUALITY, Lee Creek Otodus chubutensis, a O. megalodon predecessor, from Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note the crown exhibits cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - Otodus chubutensis. A gorgeous blue & tan colored crown with a brown bourlette. Great serrations.
