An EXTRA LARGE, beautifully prepared Asaphus punctatus trilobite from Saint Petersburg. A very nice three lobe design. Note the raised eyes to see in soft sediment. The high eye stalks were used to find prey and identify predators. An Ordovician (470 mya) trilobite from the Saint Petersburg region, Russia. Exceptional quality and preservation! An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Nanotyrannus lancensis tooth from the western US. An October Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 2-1/4" (straight line). The enamel is excellent quality. The posterior serrations are exceptional and anterior serrations are excellent. A wide tooth with an extra large rectangular base with a typical Nano "pinched rectangle" cross-section.
